BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary wrestling team (2-0, 1-0 Northern Sun) continued their stellar performance in duals as they earned their first conference win, shutting out Minnesota State University Moorhead 41-0. This is the second straight shutout for UMary as the Marauders defeated Concordia College 41-0 earlier in the season.
Jaden Verhagen (125) opened the dual against Clayson Mele. Verhagen would earn the Marauders six points as he would pin Mele at the 3:32 mark.
Up next was
Reece Barnhardt (133), who took on Cole Jones. Barnhardt would defeat Jones via a 13-1 major decision.
Laken Boese (141) was victorious in his match against Hunter Hayes, winning by a 12-5 decision.
Trevor Fauver (149) would win an exciting contest against Declan Malone via a 9-4 decision.

Braydon Huber, who would go on to win by an 11-8 decision over Jacob Thomas.
Leo Mushinsky (165) earned UMary four points as would win via an 11-3 majority decision over Braydon Ortloff.

Max Bruss (174) kept the Marauders momentum going as he would pin Justin Dravis at the 4:09 mark.
Wyatt Lidberg (184) would earn the victory over Gage Roaldson via a 9-5 decision.
Matthew Kaylor (197) would get UMary's third pin of the dual at the 1:15 mark over Steven Abbott.
Finishing off the dual for the Marauders was
Gerardo Jaime (265) as he defeated Samuel Grove via a 7-1 decision.
