MINOT, ND – The University of Mary wrestling team (3-0, 1-0 Northern Sun) remains undefeated after defeating in-state rivals Minot State University (0-2, 0-1 NSIC) 29-12. This is UMary's fourth straight victory over MSU.
Jaden Verhagen (125) kicked things off for the Marauders as he would win an exciting matchup over Oscar Nellis by a 7-6 decision.
Up next was
Reece Barnhardt (133), who would continue UMary's momentum by defeating Brandon Meikel via a 10-4 decision.
Laken Boese (141) fell behind to 6-0 in his match against Lincoln Stormer. Boese would go on to rally and win by pinning Stormer at the 0:09 mark.
Ryan Scherber (149) was defeated in his match against Shadi Mitwalli by an 18-16 decision.
Devin Steidler (157) was pinned by MSU's Nathan Baca at the 0:33 mark.
Leo Mushinsky (165) won via a 12-3 majority decision over Cannon Potts, earning UMary four points.

Wyatt Lidberg (184) defeated Noah Gallardo by an 8-3 decision.
