WINONA, MN –The University of Mary volleyball team (6-21, 3-15 Northern Sun) fell in their final road game of the season to Winona State University (24-3, 15-3 NSIC).
The first set saw WSU jump out to an 8-1 early lead and would go on to win 25-10. The second set would start more evenly matched, with the Marauders trailing 10-9 midway through. The Warriors would then win 15 out of the next 18 points to win the set 25-12.
UMary fell behind 9-0 to start the third set. The Marauders would show heart and cut WSU's lead to 21-18 before the Warriors would take the next four points and win 25-18.

Nehkyah Ellis led the Marauders in kills (4) and aces (4)
Kayla Lewinski had three kills, two digs and one block
Kaia Sueker had a team-high 18 digs while contributing three aces.
Kameron Selvig led the team in assists with 14 while earning six digs
