EDMOND, OK – The University of Mary women's basketball team (2-2) earned their second win after defeating Northeastern State University (0-1) 70-61 in the Central Region Classic. UMary had four double-digit scorers for the first time this season.

The first quarter was a stalemate as both teams scored 15 points. UMary would dominate the second quarter, outscoring NSU 25-15, with the Marauders shooting 10-of-18 in the quarter.

UMary extended its lead in the third quarter by two points giving the Marauders a 54-42 lead heading into the final quarter. UMary would close out the Riverhawks in the fourth quarter and take home the 70-61 victory.

Macy Williams had a great night as the senior scored 19 points while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists. Williams had an efficient game as she shot 8-of-13 from the field.

Lexie Schneider had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds in just 19 minutes of action.

Megan Zander scored 19 points while bringing down five rebounds.

Addison Rozell had 14 points and eight rebounds while shooting a perfect 6-of-6 for the game.

The Marauders dominated on the glass as they outrebounded the RiverHawks 44-26. UMary struggled with turnovers as the Marauders had 20 while NSU had 14.

The Marauders shot 49.1% from the field, shooting 36.4% from behind the arc and going 12-of-20 from the free-throw line. The RiverHawks shot 38.1% from the field, shooting 32% from three while going 5-of-8 from the charity stripe.
