SIOUX FALLS, SD –
Nehkyah Ellis earned a double-double as the University of Mary volleyball team (3-14, 0-8 Northern Sun) lost to the University of Sioux Falls (10-6, 5-3 NSIC).
The first set went back and forth, with both teams finding moments of success. With the set tied at 21-21, USF rallied off four of the next five points to win 25-22.
The Marauders would find themselves tied with the Cougars 14-14 in the second set. USF would once again close out strong and win 25-18.
UMary struggled in the third set, which saw USF take it 25-12.
"We put together some really good sets tonight. Our consistent play needs to continue to increase, but we're gaining some good momentum," said head coach
Abby Pollart.

Kameron Selvig was the team leader in assists with 14
