PROVO, UT – With the opening round of the Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League championships now in the books, the second round matchups are now set. The nation's top-ranked University of Mary hockey team will face Utah State University in the semifinals on Friday, February 8. Game time is 4:30 pm CST/3:30 pm MT from the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah.

UMary and Utah State have faced one another twice this season with the Marauders picking up a pair of wins, 10-0 in Mandan, ND, and 4-2 in Logan, Utah.
 
Seeded first in the Marauders inaugural trip to the MWCHL championships, UMary earned a first-round bye.
