WAYNE, NE – Four quarters wasn't enough for the University of Mary women's basketball team and Wayne State College to decide a winner. The back and forth thriller that featured 10 different lead changed would head to overtime to determine a victor. The Marauders came out on top thanks to a timely
Cassie Askvig three pointer and clutch free throws by
Lauren Rotunda with just seconds left. UMary's 83-81 win was highlighted by four players who posted double digit points.
Cassie Askvig led the way with 25 with
Macy Williams adding 19,

Megan Voit adding 11 in her first collegiate start.
With the win the Marauders improve to 15-9 overall and 9-6 in the NSIC. WSC falls to 14-7 overall and 9-6 in the Northern Sun.
