BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary wrestling team had their hands full against the defending national champs and current #1 St. Cloud State Huskies. The Marauders would fall to the Huskies by a score of 45-0, giving SCSU their 60^th straight dual win.
 
Jeremy Leintz kept things close in the first dual of the night, trailing just 2-1 after the first period. Robby Horsman of SCSU was able to build on the lead, winning by a 10-5 decision.
 
Laken Boese (133) was able to keep things close against #2 Garrett Vos in the early going but Vos showed why he's #2 in the country, pinning Boese at 3:58.
 
Lincoln Turman bumped up to 141 to wrestle Joey Bianchini. Bianchini won by fall at 2:51.
 
Devin Steidler (149) dropped his bout against #2 James Pleski by 20-9 major decision.
 
In a battle of two ranked opponents, #2 Jake Barzowski took down #12 Braydon Huber (157) by a 11-2 major decision.
 
Riley Mitchell (165) dropped his match by a 16-2 major decision.
 
In another battle of ranked foes at 174 lbs, #4 Kolten Eischens beat #7 Phillip Springsteen by fall at 3:52.
 
#2 Tyree Overton beat Grant Litke (184) by a 22-7 technical fall.
 
Gerardo Jaime (197) lost to #9 Noah Ryan by a 15-2 decision.
 
Dominic Tudor (285) forced sudden victory against Ezayah Oropeza but Oropeza was able to claim a 3-1 win in sudden victory.
 
The Marauders will be back in action on February 7 against Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD at 7 PM.
