Marauders overwhelm Centurions 95-43 in final tune-up before NSIC action begins

BISMARCK, ND – In a final tune-up before the start of the Northern Sun conference schedule, the University of Mary rolled past visiting Yellowstone Christian College 95-43. Matthew Kreklow led the Marauders with 17 points and all 12 UMary players scored in the game.

UMary improves to 4-1 with the win. Next up for UMary is the NSIC opener at Minot State University on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The Marauders dominated the contest in all areas, outscoring the Centurions 46-16 in the paint, held a 12-5 edge in three-pointers, and generating a 26-6 advantage in points off turnovers. UMary committed just four turnovers and forced 18 and finished +7 in rebounds.

Creating pressure on the Centurions all over the court, Turner had four steals in the game and snared three rebounds. Trevor Kaiser added 12 points and five rebounds while making a pair of treys. Josh Sipes scored ten points, making 4-of-5 attempts from the floor – including two treys – and dishing our four assists.
