THIS WEEK
The University of Mary women's basketball team concludes a four game home stand with a Friday night matchup against the Yellowstone Christian College Centurions. The Marauders and Centurions will face off at 5:30 PM on Friday, November 22 at 5:30 PM.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the Marauders took the court was for three dominant victories in their first three home games of the season. The Marauders began the week with a 110-52 win over Presentation College.
Lexie Schneider recorded an 18 point, 11 rebound, six assist double-double to lead the way.
Cassie Askvig pitched in 21 points and
Coral Gillette 14. In the second game of the week, UMary took down Dickinson State 78-52. Askvig (22) and Gillette (18) led the way in scoring but it was a career day by Williams passing and on the defensive end that highlighted UMary. Williams recorded a career high of 10 assists and four steals during the matchup. In the final game of the week the Marauders took down a talented Mayville State team 83-57. Askvig led the way with 23 points with
Lauren Rotunda and Schneider each pitching in 17. The Marauders recorded an impressive 18 steals during the matchup.

OPPO RESEARCH – YELLOWSTONE CHRISTIAN
Yellowstone Christian comes into the matchup against the Marauders with an 0-6 record. In their most recent game, YCC lost to Dickinson State by a score of 66-59. The Centurions had three players post double digit points during the game. YCC was led by Hanna Hayes who recorded 20 points and 14 rebounds against DSU.
LAST MATCHUP
The last time the Marauders and Centurions met up was last season when UMary won by a score of 113-59.
Cassie Askvig had 18 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Gillette had 19 points on 6-10 shooting from deep. Rotunda pitched in 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

UMary is sixth in the Northern Sun in points per game averaging 74.9. The Marauders have a plus 17 points scoring margin over the opponents which ranks fourth in the Northern Sun.
Cassie Askvig leads the conference in scoring, averaging 20.8 PPG. The Marauders rank fourth in the conference in field goal percentage (45.4). Schneider is third in the NSIC, shooting 61.5 percent from the field. Askvig ranks eleventh in the conference with a field goal percentage of 52 percent.

The Marauders sure know how to share the ball. The team ranks second in the conference in assists, averaging 17.5 assists per game.
Macy Williams ranks fifth in the conference averaging 4.4 assists per game. She ranks third in the NSIC in assists/turnover ratio.

LIVING UP TO EXPECTATIONS
Coming into the season as defending NSIC player of the year the expectations are high for senior
Cassie Askvig and she is living up to those expectations. The Marauders senior is averaging 20.8 PPG and six RPG early on this season.
