Appeared in 25 games, with 25 starts.  Averaged 17.5ppg and 9.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 48.9% overall from the field and 45.3% from the 3pt line.  Cassie finished the following in the NSIC – 3^rd in Scoring(17.5ppg), Tied for 5^th in Rebounding(9.3rpg), 7^th in overall FG%(48.9%), 7^th in FT%(83%), 2^nd in 3pt FG %(45.3%), 15^th in 3pt FGs Made(39), 1^st in Defensive Rebounds(8.3rpg), and 6^th in minutes played(32.7).  Cassie had a season high 34pts and 20rbs vs. Wayne State on 2/1/19.  Cassie was honored as the NSIC Player of the Year(1^st in School History, NCAA Era), All - NSIC First Team Selection, D2CCA All – Central Region First Team, and Women’s Division 2 Bulletin Honorable Mention All – American Team.

2017-2018
Played in and started 28 games…Averaged 34.5 minutes per game during conference play...Averaged 14.5 ppg (7^th in the NSIC), 8.8 rebounds (6^th in the NSIC), and 1.4 blocks per game (11^th in NSIC)…Shot 33% from beyond the 3-point line and 43.7% overall…Scored career and season high 25 points twice (MSU-Moorhead on 12/1/17 and Minnesota-Duluth on 12/30/17)…Named NSIC Player of the week for the week on 1/2/18…Selected All-NSIC Second team
 
2016-2017
Played in all 31 games during the season…Averaged 8.0 points per game, 4.4 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game---Shot a 43.4 field goal percentage..Led the team with an 84.8 free throw percentage…Scored season high 19 points vs. Washburn…Tracked down as season high 10 rebounds during the game vs. Sioux Falls.
 
PRIOR TO UMARY
Cassie prepped for Minot High School, where she played for Todd Magnuson and Bernie Wasser…Named first team all-state as a sophomore, junior and senior….North Dakota Miss Basketball Finalist as a senior--- West Region All Conference Award as a sophomore, junior and senior…Her sophomore year she helped bring her team to state, where they finished second…All-time leading scorer in Minot High School history…Participated in swimming and fast pitch softball…She helped her team win the team state swimming championship.
 
She is the daughter of Curtis and Kylene Askvig…Sister Kali is a freshman on the Umary Tennis Team
