BISMARCK, ND – The University of Mary swimming and diving team hosted their second home meet of the season tonight against Augustana University. The Marauders swam well keeping the meet incredibly close but in the end would fall 122-101 to Augie.
With the loss the Marauders fall to 1-5 on the season.
Mariah Stewart broke school records on the 1 meter and 3 meter diving board. Stewart posted a total of 204.05 on the 1 meter board and 202.40 on the 3 meter board. These school records were good enough to give the sophomore first place in both events.
The Marauders 200 yard Medley relay team of Boese, Jackson, Zadjzinski, and Lee opened up the day with a win for the Marauders posting a time of 1:52.15
Anna Jackson continued to dominate. She posted the fastest time of the day in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:28.96. This time was good enough to break her own school record.
Alyssa Boese took home a win in the 100 yard free with a time of 55.51 seconds. She also posted a second place finish in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:17.17.
Andrea Lee was able to take home a second place finish in the 200 yard free posting a time of 2:01.47
Abbey Zajdzinski recorded a time of 2:10.60 in the 200 yard butterfly to take second place on the day.
Rachel Riedel posted a time of 2:14.42 to take second in the 200 yard backstroke.
The Marauders 200 yard freestyle team of

Andrea Smith,
Mary Williamson, and
Sarah Dudley finished with a time of 1:45.75 for second place.
The Marauders get back to action on November 2 at 5:30 PM against Northern State in Aberdeen, SD.
