Billings, Mont. - The University of Mary (4-3) men's soccer team was shutout for the third time in a row this season as California Baptist (4-1) outlasted the Marauders 3-0 on Saturday, Sept. 17.

Mary has been outshot 60-22 in their last three matches. The Lancers outshot the Marauders 19-8 and received a hat-trick from junior forward Luca Tschaidse to capture the victory.

In the 6th-minute Tschaidse used a header finish from five yards out to score the first goal of the match.

Tschaidse recorded his second goal of the game in the 28th-minute after dribbling past a few defenders for the score. The Lancers led 2-0 at halftime.

The hat-trick was completed in the 50th-minute after Aidan Apodaca found Tschaidse on the left side of the goal for the score.

Sophomore goal keeper
Ludvig Rhodin finished with five saves but was given the loss as he fell to 4-3-0 on the season.

Mary received three shots from junior
Jordan Kaubisch but the Marauders finished with just two shots on goal.

The Marauders will try to bounce back at 2 p.m. against Montana State University Billings on Monday, Sept. 19 in Billings, Mont. Â
