Hannah Larson finished with 27 points and the University of Mary won its second straight game after beating Presentation College, 69-54 Saturday, Nov. 19.

Larson hit nine shots on 13 attempts and finished 7-for-9 from the free throw line. She also collected nine rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal.

The other Marauder to finish in double-figures was
Gabbie Bohl as she finished with 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting.

The Marauders outscored the Saints 41-22 in the second and third quarters and held PC to 33 percent from the floor to capture its third victory of the season.

Mary held a 16-9 lead over the Saints with 2:01 left in the first quarter but PC ended the quarter on a 6-0 run to pull within one point.

Late in the second quarter Bohl hit a two-pointer and Mary led 35-25 and took a 40-27 lead into halftime.

With 8:49 left in the fourth quarter, Larson drilled one of her two three-pointers in the game and the Marauders took its largest lead of the game, 62-37 over the Saints.

Mary (3-3) scored 19 points off 15 Saints (0-5) turnovers and won the points in the paint battle, 28-12 to secure the non-conference win.

Dani Williams finished with eight points and a team-high three assists in the game as teammate
Rachel Weir went 3-for-4 from the free throw line and added five points for the Blue & Orange.

Cassie Askvig's streak of three straight games in double-figures came to an end as she scored seven points on 3-of-6 shooting.

Lauren Rotunda wasn't the most effective on offense as she finished 2-for-8 with four points but she was second on the team with five rebounds.

The Marauders finished with just 10 turnovers, which was good enough for its fewest amount of turnovers in the six games played this season.

The Saints were led by Layana Wright-Ponder who finished with 12 points on 4-of-15 shooting.

The Marauders host Lake Superior State Sunday at 1 p.m. inside the McDowell Activity Center. It'll be Mary's 2016-2017 home-opener.
