BETHANY, Okla. - The University of Mary and Southern Nazarene needed extra time to find the match winner but the Crimson Storm came out on top with a 4-3 overtime win Monday, Oct. 30 at Wes Harmon Field.

The Marauders (6-9-0) finished with 20 total shots (10 SOG) and took four more corner kicks then its opponent but gave up three second half goals in the loss.

In the 69th-minute
Aaron Brennan gave the Marauders a late 3-2 lead with his fourth goal of the season but SNU's (2-14-2) Cutter Smith found teammate Alan Armstrong in the 81st-minute to tie the match at 3-3.

Neither team could find a score in the final nine minutes of regulation as both teams headed into overtime. In the 104th-minute, SNU's Jared Rangel found the lower left corner of the net and the Crimson Storm completed the comeback with a win.

The two other Marauder goals in the match were scored by
Michael Hertz and
Hampus Rasmussen.

Hertz, a native of Bismarck, N.D., scored his first career goal in the 37th-minute of the match and Rasmussen scored his second goal of the season in the 65th-minute.

Jordan Pearce finished with a match-high five shots on goal for the Marauders as
Jakob Olsson,
Marc Carreras and Brennan posted two shots each.

Ludvig Rhodin was handed the loss in goal for Mary and falls to 6-9-0 this season after giving up four goals and saving five shots.

Colton Hadlock earned the win between the posts for SNU after giving up three goals and saving seven Mary shots. Hadlock moves to 2-14-2 on the year.

Mary is now 2-9 in its last 11 matches and will play its final regular season match Sunday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. against Upper Iowa (6-9-0) in Fayette, Iowa.
