JAMESTOWN, N.D. - The University of Jamestown claimed a 4-1 victory over the University of Mary men's soccer team on Wednesday, Oct. 19.

With the loss, the Marauders fall to 6-7-0 overall, while the Jimmies improve to 6-8-1 on the season.
UJ Nencho Margaritha netted his ninth goal of the season in the 13th-minute of the match after receiving the pass from teammate Charlie Foster.

Mitch Carter scored his third goal of the season to tie the match at 1-1 in the 50th-minute but Jimmies Jacob Scotte found Henrique Lucena for the second UJ goal of the match that would eventually be the game winning goal.

The Jimmies tagged on two more goals in the 63rd-minute and 72nd-minute.

Aaron Brennan,
Jordan Pearce and
Mitch Carter each tallied a shot on goal to lead Mary offensively.

For the match, the Jimmies outshot Mary, 14-10, but Mary posted a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.

Ludvig Rhodin suffered the loss in goal to drop to 6-7-0 on the year after making five saves and allowing four goals.

UJ's Lasse Binder earned the victory between the posts after giving up one goal and making five saves in the match to improve to 6-6-0 on the season.

Mary is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Oklahoma Baptist. First kick is set for 7 p.m. in Shawnee, Okla.
