Michaelson had a productive day as well with a fifth place finish in the Elite 165-Pound bracket highlighted by three straight wins following an opening round loss and capped off his run with a 6-3 decision over Kyle Bateman from Colorado State University-Pueblo in the fifth place match. Josh Jensen was the last to place for U-Mary in the event as he took fifth in the Amateur 125-Pound bracket and started his run with back-to-back wins, but lost in the quarterfinals. Jensen rebounded with two straight decisions to get to the consolation semifinals, but lost once again and settled for a fifth-place bout finished off with a 12-4 major decision over Jacob Espana from New Mexico Highlands.

BARNCAT TOUGH: Guillen was named U-Mary's Barncat Tough Wrestler of the Week once again as he powered his way through the Elite 141-Pound bracket at the Holiday Inn Open hosted by Nebraska-Kearney.
