Box Score BISMARCK, N.D. – Regulation time has not been enough for the University of Mary women's soccer team this season. Four times in six games the Marauders have gone into overtime, including a 1-1 draw with the University of Minnesota Crookston today.
Playing every game at home so far this season, the Marauders record is 1-2-3 overall and 0-1-2 in Northern Sun action. UMC is 2-2-2 overall and 1-1-1 in NSIC play.

Shelby Buttron preserved the tie for U-Mary with the lone save in either overtime early in the second session. Under heavy pressure from the Golden Eagles she corralled a shot by Maggie Gibbons before being knocked to the ground by Kallie Gau. The contact resulted in a yellow card issued to Gau.
After a scoreless opening half, the Golden Eagles posted the game's first goal when a shot from the right flank by Beth Lastovich slipped through the arms of Buttron in the 51
st minute.
U-Mary would knot the score less than four minutes later.
Mykala Benjamin knocked a shot off the left post that bounced across the goal mouth. Senior forward
Andrea Muller tracked down the rebound and drove it into the net at 53:48. It was her third counter of the season.
The Marauders held a slight 17-16 edge in shots and both squads posted eight attempts on frame. Both Buttron and UMC goalkeeper Lexie Gaugher recorded seven saves.
U-Mary next hosts the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday, Sept. 27. The game is set for 1 p.m. at Reichert Field in the Cottonwood soccer complex.
