Alyssa Boese was involved in eight first place finishes, taking five individual firsts and three as a part of relays. On day one of the Dragon Invite Boese took first in the 200 back with a time of Boese 2:12.49 to take first place by over three seconds. The junior started off the day with a first place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.95. She then posted a win by over two seconds in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:14.42. Boese finished in first in the 50 yard backstroke (28.11 seconds) and the 100 yard IM (1:01.57). Boese was apart of first place teams in the 800 free, 400 free and 400 medley.
