A impressive senior season continues for Luxon Glor. The University of Mary senior showcased his running abilities at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic, setting a pair of school records and registering two NCAA provisional qualifying marks during the two-day meet.
Glor opened the weekend with an exceptional effort in the 200 meter dash. The Winnipeg, Manitoba, native burned up the track in a time of 21.61 seconds. The national qualifying time shattered his own school record of 21.84 seconds established last season. Glor finished second overall and was the only NCAA Division II athlete in the top 11.
Not finished entrenching his name into the Marauders annals, Glor followed his effort in the 200 with spectacular success in the 60 meter dash. After posting the sixth-best time in the preliminaries, Glor had the meet's best mark in the semifinals. Racing in the finals, Glor produced his best mark at UMary, winning the event in 6.74 seconds. The NCAA provisional clocking broke his own school mark of 6.78 second from earlier this season. Glor now ranks fourth in the nation in the 60.
