Malia Brudvik was park of the Marauders stout defense, not allowing in any goals all weekend. The defense, headed by Brudvik only allowed one shot on goal against SMSU and four against Sioux Falls. Brudvik scored the loan goal against SMSU to clinch the Marauders 1-0 win. Brudvik was named the NSIC defensive player of the week.
