The University of Mary Marauders

Jennifer Agnew (Sr., Onamia, Minn. / Onamia) showed no rust after missing last season due to injury. Competing in cross country for the first time since the 2011 NCAA championships, the Marauders All-American rolled to an easy victory at the Randy Smith Invitational. Agnew won the meet by 50 seconds over teammate Megan Beam, traversing the trail in a time of 17:12. Her effort helped the Marauders win their first meet of the season.

Her efforts won Agnew the USTFCCCA National Division II Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honors, the first time a Marauders athlete has claimed the national honor. Agnew also was named the Northern Sun Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
