Allen scored the first points at the NCAA championships for the Marauders. After placing seventh at the indoor championships, Allen finished eighth outdoors due to tiebreakers. The junior from Old Harbour, Jamaica, cleared the first two heights on his second attempt each time before sailing over the bar at 2.08 meters on his first try. Now a two-time All-American, Allen was unable to exceed the next height. He was the top placer in the event among Northern Sun competitors.
