The most decorated athlete in Marauders Wrestling history, Reece Barnhardt became the first Marauder to win an NCAA National Championship, doing so at 133 pounds in 2025. He is a four-time NCAA All-American, another program first. 

Barnhardt had a career record of 110-27, the second-most wins in the Adam Aho era. 27 of those victories were by fall, and 10 were by tech fall. 

A Bismarck, ND, native and a St. Mary's High School grad, Barnhardt was a four-time NDHSAA State Champion. He joins the coaching staff for the 2025-26 season.Â
