PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: A native of DePere, Wisconsin, where he attended DePere High School. Sam will be joining his brother Max on the wrestling team in the Fall. During his time at DePere High School where he accumulated over 120 wins; Sam was a three-time conference place winner, two time regional champion, and he qualified for the 2020 Wisconsin state tournament.
 
PERSONAL: He is the son of Kenley and Anne Bruss. Sam graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and is currently enrolled in an MBA in Public Administration. Brother Max competed for Marauders Wrestling from 2018 to 2024.
