Biography

2021 (Junior)
Lincoln posted a 1-0 record on the year at 141 lbs, earning a fall in his lone match on the season. He
earned Academic All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association and an
NSIC All-Academic nod for his effort in the classroom.
 
2020 (Sophomore)
Lincoln posted a 13-5 record at 125 and 133 lbs. He was runner up at the Jimmie Open, 4th place at the Cobber Open, and he secured a top 8 placement at the NUWAY College Open. He registered one major decision and he led the team with nine pins this season. Lincoln also boasts NWCA Academic All-American honors for his effort in the classroom.

2019 (Freshman)                                                                                                                                               
Lincoln earned a 10-5 record at 125 pounds, featuring six pins and one major decision. Lincoln placed 6th at the Jimmie Open, 2nd at the UNK Holiday Inn Open, and 1st at the Dragon Open.

PRIOR TO MARY
High School
Lincoln attended T.F. Riggs HS (Pierre) in South Dakota. During his high school career, Lincoln was honored as KSFY Scholar of the Week in May of 2018.  He became a three-time state finalist an two-time SDHSAA state champion in 2016 and 2017 during his 136 win career. Lincoln was also a Rocky Mountain Nationals All-American, 2018 National High School Honorable Mention Team by Wrestling USA Magazine, and competed in cross country.
 
Personal
Lincoln is the son of Shelly and Paul Turman. Lincoln will study Nursing at the University of Mary.
