2023 (Graduate)
Ellis played in 104 sets while starting in all 28 matches in 2023. Was second on the team in kills with 244, averaging 2.44 kills per set. Was the Marauders most effective server with 30 serving aces. Recorded 248 digs as she averaged 2.38 digs per set. She also collected 30.0 blocks on the year. She posted a season-best 16 kills against the University of Minnesota Crookston. Ellis had 10 games where she recorded double-digit kills. Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team.

2022 (Senior)
Played in 95 sets while starting in each of the 28 matches in 2022. Led the Marauders attack once again with a team best 238 kills and 2.51 kills per set. Was also the most effective server on the team with 27 service aces. Defensively, Ellis was second on the team with 288 digs. Also added 19.0 blocks. Collected a season-high 17 kills twice in the same weekend, helping lead UMary to home victories over Minnesota Crookston and Bemidji State on October 28-29. Had nine double-digit kill performances in 2022. 

2021 (Junior)
Played in all 97 of the 102 sets played by the Marauders, while leading the team in kills and service aces. Ellis totaled 239 kills and 2.46 kills/set, while also recording 31 service aces and .32 service aces/set. Ellis also recorded 3.02 digs/set. She ranked 19^th in digs/set and 15^th in service aces in the NSIC.

2020 (Sophomore)
Fall Season canceled due to Covid-19.  Led the team in kills and kills per set with 27 and 2.25 respectively, including 10 kills against Minot State on March 10, 2021.  Defensively, she added 29 digs while competing in all four matches in the spring of 2021. 

2019 (Freshman)
As a true freshmen, she played in 54 sets, was 2^nd on the team with 1.81 kills per set, had the 2^nd highest serve reception percentage of .930 (only behind the Libero), and had 119 digs.  She earned a match high 16 kills against Minnesota State University Moorhead on October 15^th.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
Nehkyah Ellis joins the Marauders from Crater HS in Central Point, Oregon. Ellis was a four-year letter winner at her high school. Ellis earned All-Conference Honorable mention as a sophomore, and First Team All-Conference as a junior and senior. She also earned First Team All-State honors her senior year campaign.
