Kenna Olsen joined the University of Mary Athletic Staff in 2017 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.  She primarily works with the Volleyball and Baseball teams. She spent the 2017-2018 season working with the Swimming and Softball team.
 
Prior to joining the Marauders Sports Medicine staff, Kenna was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at St. Cloud State University from 2015-2017. While at St. Cloud State she was responsible for the care of the Baseball team and assisted with the Men’s Basketball team. Kenna obtained her Master of Science degree in Special Studies Sports Psychology from St. Cloud State in 2017.
 
In 2015, Kenna received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota, as well as Minors in Psychology and Health Education. During the summer of 2014, Kenna did an internship with the Seattle Mariners Professional Baseball Organization in Peoria, AZ. She spent time in the rehabilitation facility and working with the Rookie League team. Kenna also did an internship with the Mayo Clinic Health Systems hospital in Eau Claire, WI. 

As a four year letter winner at the University of North Dakota in softball, Kenna competed for the then Fighting Sioux during the 2010-2013 seasons. She was named to the Athletic Director’s honor roll each of those years and was named the Offensive Player of the Year in 2012. In 2010 the Fighting Sioux won the Great West Conference Championship, the only softball championship in school history. Kenna was an all-conference team member in 2011 and 2012, and an NFCA Academic All-American in 2013.
 
A native of Issaquah, WA, Kenna loves that residing in North Dakota provides opportunities to spend time with her family living in the state and surrounding areas.
