2020-21 (Freshman)
As a freshman, Rachael was a member of the indoor 4x400 meter relay team that placed 3^rd at the NSIC indoor conference championships. She also ran the 800-meter run and placed 12^th. At the outdoor conference championships, Rachael ran the 800-meter run and placed 10^th with a career best time, just missing the finals. She was a member of the UMary women’s team that placed 1^st as a team.

High School
During high school, she was involved in NHS, Captains and Leaders, Environmental Club, Book Club, and Letter Club. Rachael also ran as a unified partner for the local Special Olympics Track and Field team in 2019.

During her high school career, Rachael qualified for the state tournament in all three sports: cross country (2018, 2019), basketball (2019), and track & field (2016, 2018, 2019). In track & field, Rachael has qualified for the state tournament in 4 different events and has won All-State honors in each of these (2018-8th in the 4x400, 2018-8th in the 200, 2019-3rd in the 4x800, 2019-7th in the 400). She has also been recognized as All-State Academic in every state tournament. Rachael holds 3 school records for her high school (400- 57.93, 4x800- 9:29, and 40-yard dash- 5.38). She also holds meet records at multiple meets. Rachael has been named all-conference every year since 7th grade in track & field (indoor and outdoor), twice in cross country, and once in basketball. She was a part of the girls cross country team who placed the highest ever in Albany High School’s history, with a 7th place finish at the state tournament in 2019. Rachael’s PR in the 5k in cross country is 19:19. She is super excited to be a Marauder!

Rachael Neu is the daughter of Ann and Jeff Neu. She is a graduate of Albany High School in Albany, Minnesota. Rachael plans to pursue a major in exercise science and a minor in psychology at the University of Mary.
