PRIOR TO UMARY
Evie competed for Central College in Pella, IA. In the 2017-2018 season, she finished 12th in the IIAC Conference meet, earning All-Conference honors with a new PR of 23:21. On the indoor track she placed for the Dutch at the Conference meet in the 5k, mile, and 4x800. The outdoor season brought her much success as she was able to set new personal bests in all her events. She placed 2nd at the Conference meet in the steeplechase in a personal best and new school record of 10:48 which qualified her for the Division III Nationals Meet, and 3rd in the 1500, both of which gave her All-Conference honors. At the National Meet, she placed 18th. She earned All-Region honors in the steeplechase.

Academically, Evie graduated from Central cum laude with a degree in Biology. She earned USTFCCCA Honors in both the 2017 cross country season and the 2018 outdoor track season, as well as numerous Academic All-Conference awards.

Evie is originally from Urbandale, IA, and is the daughter of Steve & Julie Kammeyer. Evie is a first year graduate student pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
