Former Marauder All- American Brandon Ralph returns for his eighth year of coaching the Marauder throwers in 2010-11. Ralph, a former Minot High School football and track and field standout, came to U-Mary from North Dakota State School of Science where he was a two-time All-American thrower and football standout. He won four conference championships while in the Marauder uniform. Ralph performed on four conference championship track and field teams and two DAC-10 football title teams.

Ralph’s throwers have dominated the U-Mary record books, with the latest being Ben Jacobson’s 164’ performance in the hammer thrown in 2009.

“Coach Ralph always does an excellent job with our throwers,” says Coach Thorson. “He is very loyal and dedicated coach who is a very valuable member of our staff.”
