Jones placed 11th in the NSIC Indoor Conference 5k. Jones ended the outdoor season with personal bests in both the steeplechase and the 5k, finishing 5th in the former event with a time of 11:07.84 and 17:29.81 in the latter (placing 7th).

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
She spent two years competing for Loyola University Chicago, where she is ranked seventh on the school’s All-Time Outdoor Record List in the steeplechase (11:10.45). Prior to competing collegiately, Jones was named the team MVP of her high school teams (Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, IL) six times, four years for cross country and two years for track and field. She qualified for the state meet six times and received the status of all-state selection twice, both in cross country.

Personal
Abigail Jones is the daughter of Ray and Laura Jones. She is currently double majoring in criminal justice and English.
