2024 (Junior)
Freitag earned All-NSIC Second Team singles for the second time in her career… She also earned All-NSIC First-Team doubles with her partner Chloe Chong… The Le Locle, Switzerland, native went 10-6 in #3 singles and 7-2 against NSIC competition… She went 8-6 in #1 doubles competition with her partner Chong and 6-3 in conference action.

2023 (Sophomore)
The sophomore from Le Locle, Switzerland, went 11-5 overall and 8-3 in conference play in her second season. Freitag and Chloe Chong went 11-5 overall and 7-3 in NSIC matches in 2023, once again as the Marauders number one doubles team. Freitag and Chong were once again named to the Second Team All-Conference team in doubles competition. Earned CSC Academic All-District Honors. 

2022 (Freshman)
Freitag and Chong were named to the Second Team All-Conference team in doubles competition. The pair went 10-6 in first-team doubles. Freitag finished the season with a 9-6 overall record in number two singles. Went 7-3 in conference action.

PRIOR TO UMARY
High School
Ilona Freitag (freshman), 5”2”, graduated high school from Lycée Blaise-Cendrars in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.  She won several state titles in both individual and team competitions and always wants to improve her tennis skills because what she loves most is playing matches.  
 
Personal
Ilona is interested in getting a degree in biomechanics.  She enjoys cooking in her spare time.
