Jose Daniel Gomez was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Started playing tennis at the age of 4, getting to be able to be top 5 through his junior career in Ecuador. Had the chance to play and practice overseas in the Sanchez-Casal Academy in Barcelona, Spain under a scholarship gained. Jose is the oldest of three brothers.
Graduated from North Greenville University in May 2017 with a degree in International Business. Jose Daniel played for North Greenville University Men’s Tennis Team for four years. He played mostly doubles one and singles one and three through his college career. Jose helped the men's tennis team to finish two of his seasons in Top 5 in the regular season at the Conference Carolinas.Â
Before coming to University of Mary, Jose spent two summers coaching tennis at a tennis academy in Minneapolis, MN. Mostly coaching high school kids and international players that are trying to keep playing tennis in college after.
Jose Gomez is currently pursuing his MBA with a finance concentration.
