Niki Lograsso

After an honor-filled playing career and one season as a student assistant coach at NCAA Division I South Dakota State University, Niki Lograsso joins the University of Mary coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2010. Lograsso set several SDSU marks as a goalkeeper from 2005-08 and coached last season alongside former Marauders head coach Brock Thompson.

A native of Ames, Iowa, Lograsso anchored SDSU’s first NCAA Division I postseason run to the NCAA College Cup where they upset nationally ranked Colorado in the first round.

Lograsso was a two-time all-Summit League first-team selection and a two-time Summit League defensive player of the week. Also excelling in the classroom, Lograsso was twice named to the fall academic all-league team and the 2007 Summit League’s Commissioners' List of Academic Excellence.

A 2010 graduate from SDSU with a physical education degree, Lograsso set SDSU career records for shutouts (20), saves (269), wins (30) and minutes played in goal (5,058) and ranks second in save percentage (.841) and goals-against average (0.91). Lograsso also holds single-season records in wins (15), shutouts (10) and minutes played (1,906).
