The University of Mary Marauders

Julie Simonson joined the University of Mary athletic training staff as a full-time assistant athletic trainer in August 2014. She provides athletic training care for the women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams. 

Prior to joining U-Mary, Julie was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Valley City State University for two years where she cared for the football and women’s basketball teams. During this time she worked towards her Master of Science degree in Advanced Athletic Training at North Dakota State University, which she completed in 2014. 

A native of Faribault, Minn., Julie graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2012 with a Bachelor of Athletic Training.  She likes to fish and enjoys all sports, especially rugby and hockey.
