A Northern Sun all-conference performer during her playing days, Kayla Rogers joined the University of Mary coaching staff for the 2010-11 season as a graduate assistant.

Rogers’ freshman season at U-Mary in 2006-07 coincided with the Marauders move into NCAA Division II and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. After averaging 11.1 points per game, Rogers was named the NSIC Freshman of the Year. As a sophomore, Rogers averaged 10.9 PPG and earned All-NSIC third team honors. Twice in her career she was named the NSIC Player of the Week. She also earned All-NSIC Student-Athlete recognition three straight years.

The native of Mandan, ND, set a Marauders school record for three-pointers in a game when she drained nine treys at Rocky Mountain College on December 17, 2008. Over her career, Rogers dished 331 assists, seventh all-time on the Marauders career leader board. Rogers is 14th on the school charts with 974 points.
