After a college career competing for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, one of the nation’s top NCAA Division I softball programs, Natalie Brock joins the University of Mary coaching staff for the 2011 season as a graduate assistant.
Brock was used at first base, catcher and as a designated player for the Lady Vols and played in the Women’s College World Series an impressive three times after winning three regional titles. As a freshman, she had key pinch-hits twice in the regional, including the championship game, and had another key pinch hit in the 2005 World Series.
A 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Communication Studies, Brock is pursuing a master’s degree in college teaching at U-Mary.
Prior to arriving at U-Mary, Brock coached a travel squad named Team Tennessee from 2006-09 and recently was providing hitting, catching and defensive lesson lessons while also coaching at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN.
A native of Nashville, TN, Brock won two state titles at Ezell-Harding High School. Natalie is the daughter of Joe and Sherry Brock.
