Kristin Ormsby

A highly decorated player at the University of Mary, Kristin Ormsby joins the coaching staff after an illustrious career. Ormsby appeared in 186 games over four years for the Marauders while making a start in 179. She hit .292 over the years with 165 hits in 566 at bats, 36 doubles, five triples, and 22 home runs, compiling a .489 slugging percentage and a .324 OBP. She drove in 103 RBI while scoring 95 runs, drew 19 walks and was successful on 25 of her 26 stolen base attempts. In the field, Ormsby is a career .946 fielder with 34 errors in 628 attempts as an infielder. Her prowess on the field earned her a spot on the 2014 2nd Team All-NSIC and also earned her a Gold Glove as a shortstop in the 2014 season. She was also outstanding off the field as she was named to the NSIC All-Academic team three times as a sophomore (2013), junior (2014), and senior (2015).
 
In U-Mary Division II history, Ormsby ranks seventh in at bats, ninth in slugging percentage, eighth in runs scored, ninth in most hits, first in stolen base percentage, sixth, in doubles, eighth in games played, seventh in triples, fourth in home runs, fourth in hit by pitch, sixth in RBI, third in total bases, and fourth in fielding assists.
