Ray Hall was named the University of Mary Director of Sports Medicine in October 2023 and will coordinate health & wellness efforts for over 470 scholar-athletes representing 20 sports.Â

Ray holds a Bachelor’s in Athletic Training from North Dakota State University and a Masters in Management from UMary. He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of North Dakota, while also being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Ray currently serves as Chairman for the North Dakota Board of Athletic Trainers.Â
Ray has lived in the Bismarck area for almost 30 years. He’s in his 15th year working on the UMary campus, serving in various capacities in both Athletics and Education during that time. Ray has worked in clinic/outreach sports medicine for 12 years, with also serving for a decade with High School and Professional Rodeos. He spent 12 years in professional basketball with the Dakota Wizards, as well as three years working with indoor football as well as a year in Minor League Baseball.Â

Ray and his wife, Karene, are the proud parents to three boys - Peyton, Jayden and Seth (two in college, one in high school) and they reside in Center.Â
