HIGH SCHOOL: Won 20 letters competing in cross country, track, basketball and golf in high school. DeMaris was the 2022 cross-country Section 2A champion.  He was the Tomahawk/Valley Conf. Runner of the Year in 2025. He made the All-Conference team from 2020-24. He was named Mankato Free Press Athlete of the Week in 2024. DeMaris was the Valley Conf. 1600 Meter Champion from 2022-24 and the Valley Conf. 3200 Meter Champion (2022-23). He is the Valley Conf. Indoor 1600 meter and 3000 meter record holder. He made the All-Conference team (2023, 2024) and the All-Conference Honorable Mention team (2022, 2025) in basketball. DeMaris made the All-Conference team in golf in 2022 and earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors in 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025. He served as team captain in all four sports.

PERSONAL: Son of Kris DeMaris. Majoring in Theology.  Mother competed at Bemidji State University in Basketball and Softball. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Was very active in his local church.
