PRIOR TO UMARY

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in Track and Field, Football, and Swimming at Mandan High School. Competed at the 2025 NDHSAA State Championships in the 800m (8th, 1:58.37), the 1600m (7th, 4:26.23), and 4x800m (8th, 8:15.59). Also competed at the 2023 and 2024 NDHSAA State Championships in the 4x800m Relay. National Honor Society member. Recipient of the Presidential Academic Award. 

PERSONAL: Son of Jeremy and Jaime Butman. Majoring in Electrical Engineering.
