Dynamic guard played 22 games in his first season at U-Mary, including 13 straight starts (12.7.13 thru 2.1.14)… Slowed by injuries later in the year… Averaged 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 0.8 steals per game… shot 52.8 percent from the field and 80.6 percent at the free throw line (25-of-31)… Reached double digits in points 10 times, including a season-high 18 twice (at Minot State 11.30.13 and Minnesota Duluth 12.13.13)… One of his top all-around games was in a home win over Minnesota Crookston on 1.25.13 when Devan scored 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished a season-high six assists… Led the Marauders in scoring four times, assists six times, steals four times and blocked shots twice.

PRIOR TO U-MARY
An all-region performer at Kirkwood College (Iowa), Devan Douglas averaged 11 points, six rebounds and two assists per game as a sophomore in 2012-13 to lead the Eagles to a 19-13 record. He finished in the top 20 in both scoring and rebounding in the Iowa Community College Athletic Association. The Eagles advanced to the second round of the regional tournament and Douglas received all-region honorable mention honors. He scored a career-high 19 points against Dakota County CC on Nov. 17, 2012, and grabbed 11 rebounds against nationally ranked Iowa Lakes on Dec. 15, 2012.
 
As a freshman Douglas averaged four points and three assists as the Eagles went 27-5 in 2011-12 and made it to the second round of the regional tournament.
 
As a senior at Clinton High School (Iowa) in 2010-11, Douglas averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds per game, earning first team All-Mississippi Athletic Conference accolades. A two-year starter at Clinton, he was selected to play in the Iowa vs. Illinois All-Star game, earning most valuable player honors in the contest and was named the champion in the all-star slam dunk competition.
 
Devan is the son of Charmaine Douglas and Layman Miller.
