2013-14 SEASON
Became a key reserve for the Marauders by the end of his freshman season… Played in 26 of 28 games… Played double digit minutes nine times, including the last five games of the season… Reached double figures in points in each of the last three regular season games… Scored 11 points and hauled down six rebounds in a 79-71 overtime loss to Sioux Falls… Scored 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting and had four rebounds and two assists in a 72-69 loss to Northern State… Closed out the regular season with 15 points, six rebounds and two assists in a 95-94 loss at MSUM… Had a season-high eight rebounds against Minnesota Crookston on 2.7.14… averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game… Shot 45.3 percent from the floor and .583 at the free throw line.


PRIOR TO U-MARY
A native of Aurora, Ill., Bryan Jefferson was a team captain and a two year starter at Waubonsie Valley High School. Jefferson averaged 15.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game, shot 64 per cent from the field and led the squad in steals while guiding the Warriors to a record of 21-8 as a senior in 2012-13. His efforts earned him Class 4A Special mention all-state honors, first team all-conference honors and DuPage County All-Area recognition. Jefferson also was selected to the Palatine Thanksgiving All-Tournament team. He scored a career-high 26 points with 16 rebounds against Neuqua Valley High School on Jan. 18, 2013.
 
As a junior in 2011-12, Jefferson averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game to earn both all-conference and the DuPage County All-Area accolades.
 
The son of Shontal and Ronald Jefferson, Bryan plans to major in business at U-Mary.
