Named to the 2013-14 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, which recognizes collegiate basketball student-athletes who excel in academics and recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom (must have at least a 3.2 GPA to qualify)... Deep-shooting threat for the Marauders… Appeared in eight games for U-Mary in 2013-14… Averaged 1.5 points per game, made 4-of-13 field goal attempts and was 4-of-11 behind the arc… Saw extensive action in a 75-61 win over Presentation college on 11.16.13, hitting 3-of-4 three-point attempts to score nine points, grabbed two rebounds and made a steal… Also hit a three-pointer against Minnesota State.

2012-13
Alex Anderson did not play collegiately during the 2012-13 season, joining the University of Mary in January 2013 after transferring from UW-Eau Claire.
 
PRIOR TO U-MARY
As a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2011-12, Alex Anderson played in 25 games to earn a letter as the squad went 15-10. He averaged 4.7 points, including a season-high 16 points. A 2011 graduate of Oshkosh North High School, Anderson served as team captain and led his team to a mark of 16-7. The team was ranked as high as 14^th in the state. After averaging 12 points per game, he earned team MVP honors, was named to the All-FVA team squad and was an FVA all-star selection… As a junior in 2009-10, Anderson averaged six points per game as Oshkosh North went 16-7 and reached the sectional semifinals… Anderson earned a letter as a sophomore in 2008-09 on a team that went 21-4 overall, advanced to the state tournament semifinals and was ranked as high as fourth in the state.
