Isaac Thurm joined the University of Mary as the assistant strength and conditioning coach in April 2024.
Before joining UMary, Thurm worked as the graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Northwestern College from 2022 to 2024. While working at Northwestern College, Thurm was assigned to work football, baseball, men's basketball, track & field, softball, and competitive cheer.
He graduated from Liberty University online with a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Wellness: Nutrition. Thurm worked Summer internships for strength and conditioning at TCU and the University of Northern Iowa.
Thurm played baseball for Northwestern College (IA) from 2019-2022, where he graduated with a degree in exercise science in the spring of 2022.
Thurm currently holds CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist), RPR (reflexive performance reset), FMS (functional movement screening), and CPR/First Aid certifications.
