Gary Cooper

After a decorated playing career and two years enjoying success as a collegiate coach, Gary Cooper joined the Marauders in 2008 as a graduate assistant coaching inside linebackers. A two-time All-American and Defensive Player of the Year at Carroll College, Cooper played on four NAIA national championship teams and was a three year starter. finishing as the the number two tackler in Saints history.

A graduate of Carroll with a degree in Sports Management, Cooper was a linebackers coach on the Saints staff in 2006 and 2007, winning another national title in 2007. Cooper, who hails from Helena, MT, and played at Capital H.S., has earned an MBA from the University of Mary.
