The University of Mary Marauders

David Ponath begins his second season with the University of Mary Football program, and his first as the Tight Ends Coach. Ponath spent his first year as the Outside Linebackers Coach.
 
Ponath joined the University of Mary coaching staff in July of 2019. Previously he served as an Assistant Football Coach at St. Croix Lutheran Academy in West St. Paul, MN and was a Performance Coach at Starters Sports Training in Shakopee, MN. 
 
Ponath attended Luther College in Decorah, IA from 2014-2018, where he played defensive back and linebacker. In 2018 he graduated from Luther College with a degree in Health and Fitness Promotion.
 
Ponath is originally from Stillwater, MN.
