Daniel Martin joins the University of Mary baseball coaching staff after playing two seasons for the Marauders. He will work with the outfielder and hitters at UMary.
Martin was born and raised in Penticton, British Columbia. He played high school baseball with the Langley Blaze organization. The Penticton, BC, native began his collegiate career at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ.
After two years at YC, he transferred to the University of New Mexico. Martin then came to UMary, where he spent two seasons primarily playing right field. He was the team captain of the baseball team in the 2024 season and was the Miles Brand Award winner.
Marting has experience coaching with Gamers Baseball Academy and Langley Blaze. Martin graduated with a psychology degree at UMary and will work towards an MBA.
