Bringing a wealth of collegiate coaching experience at multiple levels, Cam Guevara joined the University of Mary baseball staff as an assistant coach in August 2025.

Guevara spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons as the pitching coach for Clarke University. in 2025 he helped the Pride to a 24-28 record and a berth in the the conference tournament. Their ace, Dante Maietta, signed a professional contract with the Windy City ThunderBolts of the Frontier League following the 2025 season and their closer was a first team all-conference selection. 

Coach Guevara spent three years coaching in collegiate summer ball leagues, including the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Badlands Big Sticks as an infield and hitting coach. In 2025 he was the pitching coach for the Bismarck Larks in the Northwoods League.

Prior to Clarke, Guevara was an assistant for Dickinson (ND) State University for four seasons. In his final season at DSU, he took over as the pitching coach where they set the single-season strikeout record at DSU (362), 3rd all-time in batting average against (.256) and 5th all time in ERA (5.7). Two pitchers also earned all-conference honors in 2023 as well as a future 17th round pick in the 2025 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies, Richie Cortese. Coach Guevara also graduated with his Master's degree at DSU where, as a graduate assistant, he worked with the Infielders and hitters as well.

Before Dickinson State, Guevara was an assistant at Mount Marty College. In 2019, he helped Mount Marty to a 16-12 conference record, which qualified them for the conference tournament. Cameron graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Mount Marty College in 2019.

Coach Guevara played for Presentation College. During his time at PC, he helped lead Presentation to its first-ever conference championship game appearance.

Before his time at PC, Guevara played at Miles Community College (MCC) in the Empire Conference. There he helped lead the Pioneers to their first and only super regional at the D1 NJCAA level, as well as earning All-Conference honors in 2016 with a .305 batting average and a .444 on-base percentage.

Cameron is a native of West Valley City, Utah, and currently resides in Bismarck.
